The measurement is the whole job

Blinds Styless is run by Tonny, who has been measuring and installing custom window coverings for 3+ years. Nearly all of the work arrives by referral, from somebody whose windows we have already measured.

How it works

Why that matters more than it sounds

Custom window coverings fail in one of two places: the measurement or the install. Both happen in your house, and both depend on somebody paying attention to details that do not show up on an order form: a frame that has dropped a quarter-inch, a crank handle in the way, a radiator under the sill, the fact that the room gets used at seven in the morning and not at two in the afternoon.

When the same person does both, none of that gets lost in a handoff. It is the entire argument for using someone local over a national brand.

The fabrics come from the same manufacturers the big names use. What is different is who shows up.

There is no showroom either, so the fabric books come to your house. You get to hold a fabric up against your own light, in the room it is going in, at the time of day you actually use it.

What you can expect

Plainly stated

  • You get a price for what you asked about

Not a package built around something more expensive. If a cheaper product is the right answer for a room, that is the answer you get.

  • We tell you when not to bother

Some windows do not need treating, and some ideas cost more than they return. You will hear that rather than get quoted for it.

The estimate is free

In your home, usually under an hour including going through the fabric books. No obligation, and no pressure to decide on the spot.
